What will happen at my appointment?
The first appointment lasts 45-60minutes and consists of a discussion of the problem followed by an assessment and initial treatment. Subsequent treatment sessions last 30 minutes and aim to treat the problem and provide a rehabilitation programme and advice on prevention to avoid recurrence.
Do I need to bring anything?
Physiotherapy involves observation of posture and movement therefore for back and lower limb problems it may be appropriate for you to bring shorts to change into for your treatment. For assessment of shoulder and neck problems we recommend that women bring a vest top.
How do I pay?
Physiofit Stamford (‘Physiofit') requires all initial appointments to be paid in full up to 24hours prior to the appointment via the Payments tab on our website. Follow up appointments can be paid in the same way online or at the appointment by card or contactless payment.

I have health insurance, will I be covered?
Currently we are unable to offer appointments via health insurance policies such as AXA and BUPA. However we are able to provide receipts for physiotherapy to enable you to claim back some of the cost of your treatment through schemes such as Simply Health and Westfield Health.
